Soccer (what an original title)

Warning: as this title says the following blog will contain A LOT of soccer ramblings. You have been warned.
If you haven't figured it out yet, soccer is the one sport that I am really passionate about, and I really love it. (Some of my friends say that I am obsessed, but don't believe them). So today was the Champions League final, and it was Barcelona v. Manchester. As you probably know Miami has a large Hispanic population, and therefore a lot Barca fans, which are currently really happy that Barca won the game. I have to give this one to them, because Manchester played horribly. They played so bad that I didn't even finish watching the game, which rarely happens no matter how badly the team I like is losing. I mean this was SO bad I had to mute the TV and read a book so I didn't have to watch. I don't understand what was wrong with Manchester, they had such a good season, they got the Premier League title and they have been undefeated in the Champions League, but this was really bad. I won't try to defend them because they definitely did not deserve to win this game and Barca was just better, they covered Rooney so well and Messi is just amazing.

One thing that makes me really mad about Manchester is Ronaldo. I mean he just makes me MAD. I have to admit he is good, but he has to tone it down a little. He gets way too mad whenever the referee calls on him and even when he gets called on offside. And this game he made way too many mistakes. And don't even get me started on Berbatov (the Bulgarian player) he didn't do anything. I can't believe Ferguson let him play center, that should have been Rooney, I mean he is much better than Berbatov. Berbatov really needs to get his game on and start moving around that field, and not just hang around the center. Oh well, there is always next year.

Anyway, right now I'm watching the French Open and Maria Sharapova and Petrova are playing and it's freaking me out. I really don't like watching girl's tennis because they sound like they are being tortured. Sharapova is making these really weird noises right now, and they are kind of creeping me out. I love watching guys tennis though, Federer is definitely my favorite :D I really hope he wins the French Open.

And if you are still reading, (which I doubt you are) have a prize in the form of a picture of a hot soccer player:

I should probably go sleep now since I went to sleep at like one last night.

Bye

BEDRML?

In case you didn’t figure out what that stands for its- Blog Every Day of the Rest of My Life. Sorry for the overwhelming amount of blogs that I have been posting lately. Actually no, I’m not sorry; I don’t have to apologize for writing in my blog. Anyway, today was pretty awesome because my best friend came to shadow me at school today so I hung out with her all day; I actually got home like 10 minutes ago.  We had lots of fun at school, because my school is about four times the size of her school (we have about 2,000 students, while her school has about 500) and she freaked out about getting lost. Then we took the metro bus together, and it was my friend’s first time, but she enjoyed it. Oh, and also all my teachers and some of my friends that haven’t met Maya (that’s her name) before kept asking us if we are sisters. We’ve had this problem before because in our middle school the teachers confused us all the time, and I don’t think we look alike at all. Here's a picture of us on halloween

and us rocking on our air guitars :)

Anyway, everyone thought that I looked really tan today, which is true because I got a sunburn on the boat that went on yesterday. Even my legs got burned which is kind of weird and painful at the same time, and I also have a horrible shorts tan. I have to go study for my chemistry and Spanish finals tomorrow (wish me luck)

Adios!

Bursting Bubbles

You know those rare moments in life where everything is good and you feel completely content, but at the same time you know that this happy period will soon be over and you will have to go back to reality? Today was one of those moments.
As I said in my previous blog, I was having a great time with my family, which rarely happens. At the beginning of this vacation I made a promise to myself that I will not fight with my mom and I won't get angry at her. Surprisingly I was able to fulfill this promise, and it made me quite happy. I knew that this "bubble" of happiness and peacefulness would be over the moment we cross into Miami, and I was correct. I mean, the moment my parents and I walked into our apartment my mom started yelling at me for texting too much and not cleaning my room, and pop my bubble was gone. On top of that I just had a disgusting peanut butter Lind chocolate, I really despise peanut butter, and I thought it was caramel, ugh.
So, it's back to normal again, my mom and I fighting every five seconds, and my dad trying to keep the peace.

Sorry this blog has been so.. um... what's the word? Whiny?

Goodbye

A much too long list about too many random things

As you already know I like to make lists, so here is one:
1. I have a new YouTube obsession, and he has officially become my second favorite YouTube artist. His name is ed (eddplant) and he is AMAZING. Here's one of his amazing songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z1s5Lu3EuY&feature=channel_page
2. I have been bribed to go on a vacation with my parents. You're probably wondering how they bribed me (or you're not wondering, but I will tell you anyway). I really didn't want to go to Tampa (Which is where my parents decided to go) so my mom got a hotel on the beach and was all like: "Come on I know you want to come, imagine just walking out of the door and you're right at the beach" so I had to agree and here I am in Tampa. *insert imaginary picture of cool view from my hotel room here*
3. I'm actually pretending to be typing my Spanish study guide, but I'm doing this instead...
4. We got lost around three times yesterday. My dad kept getting out on the same wrong exit, which was the airport exit, so we've been to the airport like twice in the same day. Then he missed his exit which was conveniently the last exit before a giant bridge that takes you to St. Petersburg which is 10 miles away, so we had to drive to St. Petersburg and then make a U-turn and drive back.
5. We went to Busch Gardens today (it's an amusement park in case you didn't know) and it was kind of cool. I mean as cool as it can get for three people that are not fans of roller coasters. Neither my parents, or I like roller coasters so we only went on the water attractions, which we love and we watched the funny animals).
6. We also went to the Dali museum which was really awesome! Salvador Dali was a fucking genius (pardon my language, but it's true)
7. I saw that Sarah has posted a new blog and I really want to read it...
8. I'm just rambling now if you haven't noticed
9. I have 85 math problems that I have to do today and I really don't want to...
10. MANCHESTER UNITED ARE CHAMPIONS... Since we are talking about Man. Ud. one of my friends is amazing! He randomly texted me to ask me when my B-day is, and I told him, and then I asked why and he told me that he was at a soccer store and he saw a Manchester United jersey that might fit me and he wanted to buy me one :) I was so happy 'cause I've been looking for a soccer jersey that's not huge, but I told him not to buy it.
11. I'm in the process of reading Sarah's blog and umm... what's boob tube?!
12. I'm reading two books My Sister's Keeper and The Last Book in the Universe. Both are really depressing and have a person that has leukemia, which is making me really sad 'cause my mom's brother died from that when he was only 14. But I really, really like sad books for some reason, and both of them are amazing, and I recommend them :)
13. I should really go do homework now.

Goodbye

OMG ur so hot

Something weird happened to me today, I mean it's not really weird, but it's just that stuff like that doesn't usually happen to me. To get to the point, a guy in one of my classes told me that I was hot. First he was like "How tall are you?" and I was like, "Five seven" and he was like, "and how much do you weigh?" and I was like, "120 lb", and he was like, "OMG (he didn't actually say OMG) you're hot". This was probably one of the awkwardest (is that even a word?!) moments of my life (I might be exaggerating). I was just like, "umm.. thanks..." and I walked away. I would much rather be called pretty than hot, it just sounds better and, I don't know, I don't even know why I'm writing about this.

Oh, so here is something interesting, I'm going to an awards ceremony tomorrow at my school and I'm really excited 'cause I have to dress all nicely and stuff and then I get to get an award, and who doesn't like awards?

Weekend awesomeness

I feel as though I haven't written a blog in a while, so I am writing one now :) I had a really relaxing and nice weekend, so I am happy now that AP exam is over. I don't think I did that bad, I wrote all the essays, and even though I did write a lot of BS I think it will work. My friends and I decided to go to the beach on Friday to celebrate, and we walked there from school which was awesome. At one point before we left this guy from my chess class was going to tag along, which is OK because he is cool, but the only problem is that all my friends think that he has a crush on me and I kind of just wanted to spend time with all my good friends, but at the end he couldn't go, so I was fine. We had lots of fun at the beach even though the waves were huge and I was terrified because I can't really swim. One of my guy friends was trying to convince me to go in deeper and he stood in front of me and told me that he was going to keep the waves away, but it didn't work and I still refused to go in. The rest of the time we spent playing volleyball, soccer and Frisbee, basically it was awesome :) Then my two best friends and I went to see Angels and Demons (it was good) and one of my friends slept over my house the entire weekend.
We baked cake (and then we ate it by ourselves) went to the pool and watched movies. One of the movies we watched was My Best Friend's Wedding. That is one of my all - time favorite movies. I've seen it about seven times, and every time I see it I cry and sing along to "Say a Little Prayer for You"- the movie is just amazing. The other movie we saw was "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", I've never seen any of the Monty Python movies, and I loved it, the movie was just pure awesomeness. And because at three in the morning we decided that we were bored we went on YouTube and looked up the hoedown throwdown and we learned the entire dance... (I know that's really sad, but it was fun). We were still not tire afterwards, so we looked at MusicFromBlueSkies' videos and fangirled all over them. My friend doesn't watch YouTube videos and stuff, but she definitely liked him (I mean how can you not?!)
Basically, I had lots of fun this weekend :] (I really have to stop using smiley faces)
Oh and I forgot to mention that Manchester got their 18th premier league title, which is more than anyone has ever had and I was really excited and happy. Here's a text message conversation I had with one of my guy friends today:

Jason: MANCHESTER!!!
Me: Did you just find out?!
Jason: Yup, they drew 0-0
Me: I know, it was kind of sad, but now at least Liverpool can suck it :)
Jason: ....

it’s going to be OK, right?

I have an AP test in 9 hours and I really, really, really hope that I do well. I mean, I got the highest grade of all the people in the entire grade on the 2002 AP test. So it’s going to be OK, right? And I think that I have pretty memorized the entire history of the entire world in the past 10,000 years, so it’s going to be OK, right? And I have a horrible pain in my neck that reminds me of why I quit ballet (that and weak ankles)  and I can’t really turn my head in any possible direction, or lean forward, but it’s going to be OK, right? I mean I can totally write three essays in two hours, so it’s going to be OK, right?

I’m going to go read a real vampire book now (by Anne Rice) and attempt to pretend like I’m not nervous or worried or like I don’t feel like crying because my neck hurts… (Gosh I’m such a complainer/ baby)

Goodnight

Miley Cyrus and other unimportant stuff

I haven't bought new music in a long time so I decided that I would do that instead of study for my exam which is on Thursday. So I was looking on the songs on iTunes and I saw a couple of Miley Cyrus songs, now I really don't like her. There is just something about her that drives me insane, and makes me want to rip her hair out of her head. But I was listening to the previews on some of the songs and I actually ended up buying one of them. I have sold my soul to the devil...
On a completely unrelated note, I finally got to watch the 100th episode of Grey's Anatomy, and I cried throughout the entire episode, and I'm not even kidding. That's not saying much since there hasn't been a Grey's Anatomy episode in which I haven't cried, but with this one  I started crying two minutes into the episode. Anyway, I should probably go back to studying.

untitled

So I'm basically having a mental breakdown right now. I'm freaking out because I'm taking my AP world final tomorrow and I'm not going to do well. Now, you are probably thinking that I'm just saying that because everyone says that, but I have been taking like 100000 practice tests and I can't seem to get over a 70 on any of them. I mean, I studied my ass off (literally) and I still can't get all the answers right. So basically, I'm giving up and I'm going to see what happens tomorrow, I just don't want to study anymore, and the AP test is in three days.

On a lighter note, I went to see Star Trek on Friday and it was amazing! I mean I loved it, and I have never seen Star Trek, and I was convinced that I wouldn't like it. My favorite part? The adorable Russian guy :]

Dreams, Break-ups and Chess?

Hello world :D
Well, this feels weird, it's like I haven't written a blog in four hours... So I follow this > http://tyrannosauruslexxx.blogspot.com/ blog, and the past couple of day lex (the girls whose blog it is) has been writing about her dreams, so I thought I would share a kind of weird dream I had last night. So basically, I have been really stressed about my AP exam the last couple of days and I guess that has impacted my dreams... So, in AP World we do these quizzez every day where you have to do five things which are define key terms, identify people, locate places, and write two thesis statemenents. In my dream my teacher has told us that we weren't taking a quiz that day, so I didn't study, but she decided to give us a quiz, and I freaked out. I was looking at the smart board and the regular definition thins came up, but the one thing I remember was that we had to identify how Angelina Jolie died.... I mean wtf? The other thing that we had to do was write a compare and contrast thesis statement on Obama, but it didn't say who we were supposed to compare him to, so basically it was really weird... Hope you enjoyed this and now let's move on.
Today one of my guy-friends, Tyler that I have known for a while broke up with his girlfriend, Lauren, who I am also friends with. Tyler and I met in seventh grade 'cause he was friends with a girl that is now my best friend, and we immediately became really good friends. We became such good friends that in eight grade we dated for three months, but it didn't really work because we were such good friends and it was just kind of weird, so we broke up. We are still really good friends though, and I consider him one of my best friends, we talk all the time and he tells me everything. Since he started dating Lauren I didn't talk to him as much 'cause I didn't want to get in the middle and make her hate me or something. Yesterday they got into some kind of fight and Tyler came to talk to me and he told me that he wanted to break up with her, and he was asking me how he should do it, and OMG it was so awkward... I was about to say not to do it over the phone, but then I remembered that I broke up with him over the phone so I just told him to try and work things out with her. Obviously I don't want her to think that I broke them up or something, but yeah basically what happened was he talked to her after school and he broke up with her. Phew, I wrote too much for such a short and obvious story...
Oh, and my chess teacher really loves me, and that is amazing because he will be my pre-Calc teacher next year, and I'll be the only from my class that knows him so it will be awesome! Like today this guy in chess was telling me that JKR only writes stupid childrens books, and I got really mad and statrted yelling at him, my teacher heard what we were talking about, and he took his water gun and sprayed him in the face for dissing Harry Potter, it was awesome! (Our groups in the different chess tournaments are named after the Hogwarts houses). And then he was supposed to give me a B because I lost a game against him, but he gave me a 100 instead :P.

I will go study for Chemistry now (and continue my argument on facebook about whether or not Man. Utd. are better than Arsenal).

Yay!

Just one thing in this blog: MANCHESTER UNITED IS GOING TO THE FINALS. Yep, they just kicked Arsenal's ass big time :P

Goodbye.

Stuffs

I feel really guilty for not writing a blog in two days so here is a short one. Basically right now I'm taking a short break from studying, which I have been doing all weekend, except when I went to see Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (not such a great movie, but it was OK). I've been reading my Princeton Review book for world history and it tries to make history easy and "funny", so I though that I would share some of the more amusing headings that they had:

Egyptian Women, Hear Them Roar
Charlemagne: The Empire Strikes Back (Star Wars refrences ftw)
Can't Get Enough of China? Go to Japan.
The Playground Isn't Big Enough for Two Bullies: Crusaders and Jihad
In Search of Natural Resources: Stealing Is Cheaper than Dealing
The Treaty of Versailles: Make the Germans Cry
The League of Nations: Can't We All Just Get Along
East versus West: Let's Point Our Weapons at Each Other
China Looks West: Likes the Money, Not So Sure About the Freedom
Division of Korea: The Cold War Turns Hot and Now Possibly Nuclear
Vietnam: The Cold War Turns Ugly

I just realized tha unless you know about most of these things the heading possibly won't make sense... Oh, well, I have to go study

This is obviously not a how-to.

Hellos, so I did lie to you about making a how-to today, but I really don’t feel like writing one, and really if I do write one right now, it will be bad. So I’m currently watching the latest What the Buck video and a picture of Jacob from Twilight came on, and he is really cute. Anyway, it’s so weird now that I actually don’t have to blog every day, I still feel like I need to blog every day.

I probably won’t blog tomorrow cause I am leaving the Internetz for good* But I really have to start studying for history.

In volleyball news, I almost got my nose broken by a guy who attempted to pass the ball at me. He kind of hit the ball a little too hard and I didn’t have time to react and it hit me straight in the face, at least the soccer dudes in the class got a good laugh :]

*haha, I am so funny, like I could ever do that.
