yay :)

So I'm sitting today in my English class as three guys presented amazing presentations on surrealists. Klein wanted a girl to go, and all the girls were pretending to be too busy, scribbling in journals... She called on Rachel, who wasn't here, she called on another girl who got away with not doing it today. And I was thinking “oh fuck” I’m not going to get lucky again, and yeah she did call on me next. I tried to suck up and get away with it, but she was like, “Come on you can do it”. So I went up there, I wasn’t shaking though, which is a good thing, because I was holding a poster, so it would have looked really bad. My voice gave away how nervous I was, though. It always gets really, really high pitched when I’m either very nervous or very excited. But, I did well and I said the entire speech without making any mistakes, and without saying umm too many times. Basically, the point of this story was to tell you that I got a 95, which is AMAZING!

Anyway, there was this one guy that I wanted to write about named H.R. Giger. He was a really weird dude, and when I say weird, I really mean weird. His paintings are soooo disturbing; he suffered from a sleep disorder, where he had constant nightmares. He used art as therapy, so most of his pictures mostly depict nightmares, and they are very scary…. Oh and he was the guy who created the Alien for the Alien movie.

School went well today. I mean English and history went really well, in volleyball I was kind of mad because the people I play with didn’t want to play the entire period. I never get enough sleep on a school night, but I’m always very energetic in volleyball because I like playing it, considering the fact that it’s the only sport that I’m actually really good at. Whatever, I’m still good at the sport, and I’m joining the volleyball team next year, so yay! Anyway, I can’t wait for this week to be over, and it’s only Monday, urg.
